Saturdays are usually spent early at Wal-Mart! But today, I was craving for fresh baked bread ...a break from my traditional oatmeal and coffee routine during workdays. So at 8AM , with coffee on the side, here's a banana bread recipe that's easy for you to follow (Prep Time: 10 minutes/ Cooking Time: 30 minutes)
INGREDIENTS:
1 3/4 cup all purpose flour
1/3 cup white sugar
2 1/2 tsp baking powder
3/4 tsp salt
2-3 bananas (mashed)
1 egg
3/4 cup milk
1/3 cup vegetable oil
Note: you need 2 bowls for preparation
STEP 1:
Preheat oven for 400 degrees F (200 degrees C)
STEP 2:
In bowl A - mix together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt
STEP 3:
In bowl B- mix egg, milk and oil
STEP 4:
Combine contents of bowl A (flour mixture) with Bowl B (egg mixture)
Step 5:
Add in bananas
STEP 6:
Pour batter into prepared pan
STEP 7:
Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes
