Saturday morning! I need to prepare for the long weekend of Easter activities! This afternoon it's all about Easter egg decorating. But no biggie - - -Hosting a cup cake party is worry free nowadays!
You can spend approximately $12-15 dollars or as high as $30 for a dozen if you will purchase them at the deli. But using a boxed cake mix, cupcake foils, whipped cream was all I need to make a special cupcake treat for the egg color squad activity this afternoon at only $4.
Here's a tip: To achieve the high end taste, I substituted milk to the water, added 1 stick of butter, 2 tbsp of vanilla and lemon zest to the mixture.
So, while I am letting the eggs cool down.....Let's bake some cupcakes
