I organize 2-3 lunch meetings every week! The sad thing is: I don't usually eat, primarily because (a) I don't like the food (b) I am running through my agenda at 100 words per minute and (c) I am afraid that some leaf will get stuck in my mouth and it will be the agenda on the next meeting.
Kudos to my daily brown bag, I can eat at the comfort of my office without me harassing some lady to serve me with cold salad at $7.99 in the breakroom. The problem is: I was getting too tired of my sandwich (and cup noodles)
For my birthday , I got this original BENTO BOX SET(ordered in Japan , with Hello Kitty soy dispenser?-- nice!) and a rice cooker (do I still know how to use one?)!
So I am starting another section on Bento Box ideas for the sushi lovers like me --who only has 10-15 minutes to spare in the morning to prepare a sumptous japanese-style lunch everyday (and we can make use of leftovers too!)
So advance your alarm clock my 10 minutes and let's try this!
SALMON SUSHI:
Place rice in sushi mold (or you can just form into balls with a spoon)
Place salmon on top
Tie cut roasted nori seaweed around rice
TAMAGOYAKI: (This is a Japanese term for omelet)
Place eggplant in broiler for 3 minutes. Take out skin
Follow same technique with regular omelet but make sure the egg is spread out
Add eggplant to the end of the pan and gently roll it like you would make a sushi. Cut.
BEEF BARBECUE: (This was made from previous night - See Beef Barbecue Recipe later)
Heat in oil
ADD SLICED CUCUMBER
