I took the day off today with the original plan to sleep all day. Instead, I ended up mopping the floors as ant soldiers from nowhere decided to form a brigade near the cat's food area (summer is almost here, so it must be the food hunting season). As expected, our cat decided to alternately attack my feet and the mop PLUS seems to intentionally make a Picasso replica of whatever with his paw prints - - so what would normally take me 30 minutes, took me for ages.
So hungry, I need a good Asian meal ! Here's something that is easy to make (even after an exhausting morning).
4 tbsp. sugar
3 tbsp. sesame oil (or vegetable oil)
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 c. soy sauce
1 tsp. onion powder (or sliced ginger)
1 tsp. pepper
sesame seeds(optional)
Estimate Cost: $6-8 (serves 4-5)
STEP 1:
Slice beef into thin strips. Mix ingredients and pour over beef. Marinade for a minimum of one hour .
STEP 2:
Stir fry
STEP 3:
Add green onions and serve with white rice
