HOW TO BE FASHION READY WITH $20

Drama Tween/Teen Dilemma:
Our favorite Drama Girl is attending two parties and needs new clothes for a barbecue party on a Sunday evening and a dinner party on Memorial day. The problem is: The guests for Party 1 are the same for Party 2 (not to mention that mean girls will be there to scrutinize like the true fashion police). The next shopping session with the mom will be in August and if she wants to have new clothes, she has to maximize the $20 she has in her wallet. What can she buy at $20 and still look summer ready?

IF I AM THE DRAMA TWEEN/TEEN: 

Relax! Two days before Memorial day, we have time! First: Seek for a baby sitting job from your neighbors or ask mom/dad to pay you for extra chores (i.e. car wash, mow the lawn).

If that doesn't work, before rushing to the mall, rely on google world to guide you on the following:

• What are the trends this summer?
• Who are wearing it?
• Where can I get it?
• How much am I willing to pay for it?

Then check out your closet and try to mix and match.  You don't have to wear new clothes for a part ...BUT IF that still doesn't work - - Assuming that you have one good jeans .. . let's see who can give you the best buck for your money for 2 shirts and another pair of jeans or shoes (hopefully).

Another teen favorite .. WET SEAL: It's amazing how the teens can end up carrying lots of bags from this store with the Buy 1, Get second for $0.01 cent deal!

How do I know all these? We just went there this morning - - SO relax - - -Your $20 will go a long way -- You just have to know where to get it at the price you're willing to pay for! !

SHOULD I HAVE A TATTOO?

Drama Tween/Teen Dilemma:
My friends have tattoos and ring holes. I feel i am left out if I don't have one. Should I get one so I will be "accepted" in the group?

IF I AM THE DRAMA TWEEN/TEEN:
Why will i want to ruin my body just because my friends look different?  You need to go and check the definition of style and individuality!  People wants to be noticed and sometime they do the wackiest  decision that leaves a mark ...and literally speaking.. tattoo is one of those!

I do not have a tattoo and If am 16 again... I will not even think of  having one! First of all, it's painful, second -it looks dirty (no offense to the artist) , third - it may be dangerous (needle contamination anyone?) and the most important thing  - -In case you forgot, you will be in college and one day , you might end up being a doctor,nurse, or a  marketing executive (like me) where you meet gazillions of people everyday!

If you will be in a professional field, think about how you will present yourself to the public! You may get a harmless tattoo now, but you don't want that colored skeleton showing in your legs while you are presenting a strategy in front of your CEO or diagnosing your patient! I am not stopping you --  it's your body - -but  do consider the sticker version? It's cheap, painless ...and can be erased instantly if your mom objects to it!

If you are thinking that you're friends will left you out, because you don't have a tattoo - - well...you need to redefine what a real friend is, right?
